カタールワールドカップ最大のスタジアム、ルサイル・スタジアムでの一戦。個人的にもベスト16の7試合連続観戦の最終戦ということで疲労MAXの試合だった。試合はポルトガルのゴールショーだったが、観客からはベンチスタートのクリスティアーノコールで鳴り響いていたのを良く覚えている。周辺一帯は中東らしい先進的な建物や商業施設があり、試合後もお祭り的な雰囲気を感じられた。
